Role Overview

As a Lead Project Surveyor, you will be responsible for overseeing a range of critical deliverables throughout the project lifecycle. Your leadership will be essential in ensuring that all team members are well-informed about the project scope, roles, and responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take charge of deliverables including feasibility assessments, cost planning, procurement processes, and contract finalizations.
  • Guide a team in executing measurement tasks efficiently within the office environment.
  • Initiate and lead value engineering and value management strategies to optimize project outcomes.
  • Foster an inclusive workplace culture by leading by example.
  • Analyze and develop benchmarking data to inform project decisions.
  • Manage project resources effectively while adhering to established budgets.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of Project Surveyors and other direct reports to ensure high standards are maintained.
  • Ensure all project deliverables align with the AECOM Project Delivery System.
  • Collaborate with senior management to allocate sufficient resources to meet project timelines.
  • Work autonomously with minimal supervision, receiving general guidance on new assignments.
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 10 years of experience in the surveying field.
  • A degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related discipline is essential.
  • Proven pre-contract experience within a consultancy environment.
  • Extensive experience in cost planning at all project stages.
  • Must hold MRICS accreditation.
