Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct site assessments to evaluate the feasibility of solar installations and gather necessary data for system design.
  • Design and optimize solar systems using industry-leading software such as PVsyst and AutoCAD.
  • Develop detailed engineering drawings and specifications for solar projects.
  • Collaborate with project managers and sales teams to ensure that solar systems meet client requirements and budget.
  • Perform energy production and financial analysis to determine the viability of solar projects.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, codes, and standards related to solar energy.
  • Provide technical support to installation teams during the construction phase.
  • Conduct quality control checks on completed installations to ensure they meet design specifications.
  • Contribute to the development of new solar products and services.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, with a focus on renewable energy or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in solar energy design, preferably in the Middle East region.
  • Proficiency in PVsyst and AutoCAD software.
  • Knowledge of relevant codes and standards, such as NEC, IEC, and DEWA regulations.
