Duncan & Ross is seeking a highly experienced Engineering Procurement Manager to lead the procurement process for instrumentation and control systems used in oil and gas EPC projects.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ADNOC standards and project specifications. They will be responsible for managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the procurement process for instrumentation and control systems, including field instruments, control valves, transmitters, and DCS.
- Collaborate with engineering and project teams to review technical specifications and align procurement strategies with project requirements.
- Evaluate technical and commercial bids, and negotiate terms with approved vendors.
- Ensure adherence to ADNOC-approved vendor lists and prequalification standards.
- Monitor and expedite the delivery of materials, addressing any delays to ensure project schedules are met.
- Coordinate quality inspections, FATs, and compliance reviews for procured equipment.
- Manage procurement budgets and optimize costs while maintaining quality and schedule commitments.
- Maintain accurate procurement documentation and provide regular progress updates to senior management and project stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 10-15 years of experience in procurement for oil and gas EPC projects with a focus on instrumentation and control systems.
- Proven experience with ADNOC projects and a strong understanding of their procurement standards.
- Comprehensive knowledge of instrumentation equipment specifications, sourcing strategies, and vendor management.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in procurement software and ERP systems.
- Must be immediately available to join.
