Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team at Parsons Oman. As a Quality Assurance Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure that all construction works are performed in accordance with project quality plans and specifications.
  • Maintain a detailed diary of daily work activities, issues, work approved or rejected, hours of operation, labor and equipment used, etc.
  • Interface with stakeholders to mitigate construction impacts.
  • Coordinate with contractors to advise on proper execution of work.
  • Coordinate with other discipline inspectors and arrange for sampling and testing of completed work.
  • Report questionable methods of operation by contractors to management.
  • Report any failure of contractors to perform work as per drawings and specifications.
  • Process inspection requests and maintain records of their status.
  • Maintain detailed records of work performed by contractors.
  • Act positively and participate in health and safety issues at site.
  • Act professionally and firmly in dealings with contractors.
Requirements
  • Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in all aspects of road/infrastructure and street lighting projects.
  • Ability to read working drawings and related specifications.
  • Fully computer literate and able to utilize computer technology to access data, maintain records, generate reports, etc.
  • Good written and oral communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Registered as practicing engineers in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi or UAE issued equivalency certificate.
