CMBS Trader

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled CMBS Trader to join our team at ClickJobs. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing trading orders and implementing trading strategies in the CMBS market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute trading orders and implement trading strategies in the CMBS market.
• Analyze market data and trends to identify trading opportunities and inform investment decisions.
• Collaborate with research, sales, and other trading desks to develop and execute client-focused trading strategies.
• Monitor and manage risk exposures, including market, credit, and operational risks.
• Maintain and develop relationships with clients and counterparties to facilitate trading activities.
• Stay abreast of market developments, regulatory changes, and industry best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 1+ years of experience in CMBS trading, preferably within a financial institution or investment bank.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel and Bloomberg.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Knowledge of fixed income markets, securitization, and financial modeling is preferred.
• Series 7 and Series 63/66 licenses are a plus.
