Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Revenue Cashier Auditor to join our team at IHG Hotels & Resorts. As a key member of the finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing the cash and financial operations of the hotel.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct daily audits of cashier transactions and reconcile any discrepancies.
  2. Process General Cashier reimbursement claims on a weekly basis for review and payment by the Financial Accountant.
  3. Support Income Audit in conducting spot checks of cashiers with cash float.
  4. Update house contracts regularly in accordance with hotel policy.
  5. Clear IOUs in a timely manner as per hotel policy.
  6. Manage Post Dated Cheques for the hotel, depositing them on the due date into the hotel bank account.
  7. Maintain compliance with IHG Audit CSA requirements.
  8. Prepare the daily Cash Report.
  9. Prepare and send the daily hotel deposit to the bank.
  10. Audit cashier daily deposits.
  11. Optimize cash flow performance for the hotel.
  12. Balance the GC safe daily.
  13. Process payroll/attendance/claims from departments, calculate net pay, reconcile basic salary, and check leave deductions.
  14. Perform additional duties assigned by Management and assist in other accounting areas as needed.
  15. Maintain honest and fair relationships with clients, customers, suppliers, and financial partners.
  16. Provide accurate and timely financial information, analysis, interpretations, and projections in line with finance manual guidelines.
