We are committed to upholding the highest standards of operational excellence, environmental responsibility, and safety. As part of our growth, we are seeking a highly capable and dedicated Assistant Health & Safety Manager to strengthen our HSEQ leadership team at Saqr Port.
This critical operational role supports the HSEQ Manager in managing health and safety functions across port operations. The successful candidate will oversee safety compliance, lead awareness campaigns, supervise HSE documentation, and provide guidance to the H&S team.
Key responsibilities include enforcing the Permit to Work (PTW) program, conducting daily toolbox talks, supervising PPE issuance, leading induction sessions, and monitoring internal systems such as COSHH registers and HSE documentation.
The ideal candidate will possess a degree or diploma in Health & Safety, a NEBOSH International General Certificate, and a valid UAE Driving License. Experience in a Health & Safety environment, preferably in ports or industrial settings, is essential. Fluency in English and Hindi/Urdu is required.
