Woodwork Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Carpenter to join our team at Southern Sun Abu Dhabi. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for repairing and constructing new woodwork, partitions, ceilings, and concrete boxes, as well as furniture and aluminium fabric.

Key Responsibilities:

• Repair and construct new woodwork, partitions, ceilings, and concrete boxes, as well as furniture and aluminium fabric
• Be knowledgeable and understand woodwork, including maintenance, polishing, tools, and equipment
• Complete carpentry tasks efficiently and effectively
• Read drawings and write specifications to ensure accurate performance of required functions
• Understand the rules and procedures of the construction environment
• Work with heavy equipment and materials, and manage time effectively
• Work as part of a team or individually to deliver high-quality standards consistently and accurately

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years' experience in a related field
• A trade or qualification related to Carpentry
• Flexibility and ability to work under pressure
• Experience working in a 4 or 5-star hotel environment
• Excellent communication skills
