We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Operations Manager to join our team at Oil and Gas Job Search Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing commercial and chartering requirements, establishing mechanisms to quantify and track business-value-delivered, and communicating with stakeholders to ensure value realization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze upcoming commercial and chartering requirements to establish mechanisms to quantify and track business-value-delivered.
- Communicate with stakeholders to ensure value realization within Offshore Logistics.
- Verify and pay all Service Provider invoices and monitor Service Provider contract compliance.
- Review business cases for all projects to ensure financial viability and manage and track monthly charges to ensure accuracy of supplier charges and expenses.
- Lead tasks related to cost savings, business case development, and review and assess project business cases.
- Provide regular distributed financial reporting, including budgeted and actual expenses, forecasts, and financial trend analysis.
- Ensure that anticipated and agreed service provider financial responsibilities are not inadvertently converted to expenses.
- Oversee balancing relevant technical and pricing issues and evaluate vendor proposals to identify potential strengths and weaknesses.
- Oversee the chartering of all vessels as per the approved processes and procedures manual.
- Manage the compilation of the commercial assessment of all tender submissions and manage the compilation of the Contract Document and execution with the respective Contractual parties.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Maritime, Shipping, Business Administration, Engineering, or equivalent professional qualification.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in Commercial Offshore Services related to the Oil & Gas industry with at least five years at senior supervisory level.
- In-depth knowledge in relevant Oil & Gas Business Planning, Offshore Services, commercial management, and core marine processes, in addition to relevant regulations with sound knowledge in Oil & Gas production operations.
- Proficient in English.
