The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our broadcasting equipment and systems. Key responsibilities include:

  • Operating and maintaining a range of broadcasting equipment, including cameras, video switchers, audio consoles, and lighting systems.
  • Troubleshooting technical issues and providing timely resolutions to minimize downtime.
  • Performing regular maintenance and repairs on broadcasting equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Setting up and operating the broadcast control room during live broadcasts, including managing audio and video signals.
  • Collaborating with producers and directors to bring their creative vision to life through technical execution.
  • Assisting in the planning and execution of live broadcasts and recorded programs.
  • Maintaining a high standard of broadcast quality by monitoring and adjusting audio and video settings.
Requirements

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, applicants should possess the following qualifications:

  • An associate degree or equivalent in Broadcasting, Electronics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Broadcast Technician or similar role.
  • Strong technical skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Familiarity with broadcast signal flow and audio/video signal types.
  • Knowledge of broadcast automation systems and software.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced broadcasting environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
