Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Front-End Developer to join our team at SimplyApply. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing front-end functionality within our tools, working collaboratively with other teams and stakeholders to ensure our tools meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Implementation: Design and implement front-end functionality within our tools, leveraging front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with other teams and stakeholders to ensure our tools meet business needs, and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot issues with front-end functionality, and develop solutions to improve performance and user experience.
  • Technical Expertise: Stay up-to-date with the latest front-end technologies and frameworks, and apply this knowledge to improve our tools and services.
Requirements
  • Security Clearance: Possess an ACTIVE and CURRENT TOP SECRET/SCI federal security clearance with a Full Scope/Lifestyle (FS) polygraph.
  • Education: Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Have at least SIX (6)+ years' of experience supporting state, local, or federal customers, with a strong background in front-end development.
  • Technical Skills: Have hands-on experience with languages like HTML, CSS, and front-end Javascript frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js, as well as experience developing performant and robust front-end applications that make use of REST APIs.
  • Data Formats: Have a strong understanding and experience with data formats such as XML, CSV, and JSON.
  • UI/UX: Be able to translate UI/UX wireframe mockups to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application or web interface.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Data Visualization: Have knowledge of data visualizations, design principles, and methodology.
  • Data Governance: Demonstrate a strong understanding of the data governance framework.
  • AWS: Have familiarity with AWS infrastructure and tools.
  • 508 Compliance: Have knowledge of 508 compliance.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Be able to work in a collaborative team environment, as well as work independently in an agile environment using DevOps processes and practices.
  • Problem-Solving and Adaptability: Be an excellent problem-solver, self-starter, and communicator, with the ability to learn technical concepts and adapt to new technologies quickly.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Have strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relations with and communicate across all levels of staff and leadership, as well as a variety of internal and external stakeholder groups.
