Job Title: Tax Controller

Ali & Al Abbar Holding Group is seeking a highly skilled Tax Controller to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing the group's tax strategies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing training and guidance to the tax team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement tax strategies aligned with the company's objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure timely and accurate filing of all Tax Returns, reviewing complex income Tax Returns, and staying informed about changes to tax legislation.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize tax positions and mitigate tax risks.
  • Provide training and guidance to the tax team and relevant stakeholders within Finance, Accounting, Internal Control, and other departments.
  • Ensure compliance with Transfer Pricing Regulations and maintain proper transfer pricing documentation.
  • Working knowledge of SAP & Oracle to enable data extraction and reconciliation.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • 8-10 years of experience in an international tax environment, with Big 4 experience being a plus.
  • Tax, Finance, or Accounting certification.
  • UAE Tax experience is required.
  • Tax technical skills and tax accounting knowledge.
