Talabat is a pioneer in the online food ordering industry in the Middle East, and we're on a mission to become an Experience-first company in the region.

We're looking for a Senior Product Designer to help us achieve this goal by working closely with our Shopping Tribe, specifically in the Finding & Discovery domain.

This role involves collaborating with domain leads in product and engineering on strategic topics and supporting cross-functional squads in shaping the future of discovery.

We need someone who brings a strategic mindset, strong product and business acumen, and deep expertise in design and research craft.

As a member of our team, you'll be responsible for developing deep domain knowledge of your squad's product area and working with your manager to solve the toughest problems.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop deep domain knowledge of your squad's product area
  • Work with your manager to solve complex problems
  • Design for user experience, not just pretty interfaces
  • Minimize assumptions in your design process
  • Contribute to the overall direction of your product area while measuring ongoing improvement
  • Get continuous feedback from users through different stages of the problem-solving process
  • Create simple, elegant solutions to complex interaction problems
  • Facilitate cross-functional, collaborative workshops focused on achieving desired outcomes
  • Use and evolve our design system to design flows, prototypes, sketches, and high-fidelity visuals for your features
  • Think in terms of scalable systems, not just one-off solutions
  • Evaluate and continuously improve the user experience using various metrics
