Job Description

This senior-level corporate tax markets advisory role requires a seasoned professional to oversee live market transactions for the Group. The successful candidate will provide critical support to all Markets businesses, including Global Markets, Global Corporate Finance, Global Transaction Banking, Secured Products, and Investment Group, as well as Group Private Banking. They will serve as a single point of contact for advising Investment businesses, including Group M&A transactions.

The incumbent will be responsible for planning, leading, and ensuring the Bank and its businesses are protected from tax risks within the bank's risk appetite in all tax jurisdictions where the Group operates. This includes preparing controls and processes to mitigate tax risks and optimize tax efficiencies. They will also assist the Group Head of Taxation on global markets and investment banking purview, as well as ad-hoc projects as requested.
