About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead our projects in Abu Dhabi. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Delivery: Accountable for the delivery of multiple small projects or a medium-scale project with reasonable complexity, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and quality standards.
  • Project Definition and Delivery: Responsible for defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and ensuring effective project delivery.
  • Project Planning and Control: Establishes project delivery plans, control mechanisms, and performance metrics to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Team Leadership: Leads and manages project teams, including performance management of the Currie & Brown team.
  • Scope Management: Oversees and manages the agreed scope of work for consultant teams and/or contractors.
  • Financial Management: Works within established financial systems to produce plans, schedules, and track budgets, highlighting variances to manage and control project delivery targets.
  • Process Improvement: Utilizes industry best practices to review and manage project processes and policies, providing insightful recommendations to senior management to improve processes and systems.
  • Stakeholder Management: Interacts effectively and proactively with stakeholders, seeking ways to support collaboration and ensure projects meet customer expectations.
  • Risk and Issue Management: Advises senior management on project progress and issues, providing subject matter advice to support successful delivery in line with project objectives and strategies.
  • Communication: Presents business project risks or issues to senior managers, ensuring the project is not adversely impacted, and ensuring delivery to compliant standards.
  • Client and Stakeholder Liaison: Liaises and collaborates with clients and stakeholders to ensure all parties are informed and aware of project progress and expectations.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Professional Certification: Project management professional certification or accreditation.
  • Experience: Previous experience leading projects, with proven team leader capabilities, behaviors, and values.
  • Skills: Collaboration and teamwork, knowledge of industry best practices, commercial acumen, and ability to manage relationships with external stakeholders.
  • Personal Qualities: Proven ability as a trusted advisor to the client, with a strong track record of delivering projects to high standards.
