Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate all activities in the assigned area to achieve functional objectives.
  • Train and develop appointed employees on relevant skills to enable them to become proficient in the job and achieve the objectives of the concerned department.
  • Provide input to the preparation of department/division budgets and assist in the implementation of approved budget and work plans to achieve department goals.
  • Verify and highlight any significant discrepancies to support effective performance and cost control.
  • Implement approved department/division policies, processes, systems, standards, and procedures in order to support the implementation of department/division work programs in line with company and international standards.
  • Comply with all applicable legislation and legal regulations.
  • Contribute to the achievement of approved performance objectives for the department/division in line with the company performance framework.
  • Design and implement new tools and technologies to improve the quality and efficiency of operational processes.
  • Identify improvements in internal processes against best practices in pursuit of greater efficiency in line with ISO standards in order to identify intelligent solutions to problems facing the function.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in insurance operations management or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Knowledge of insurance industry regulations and standards.
