Job Description

We are currently seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Food & Beverage professional to join our team at Rotana Hotels & Resorts.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Service Excellence: Perform all necessary tasks to service beverages according to the standard of performance manual of the hotel.
  2. Training and Development: Conduct weekly training sessions on beverage pouring practice, cocktail mixing, bottle flaring, and up-selling.
  3. Guest Satisfaction: Achieve total guest satisfaction and organizational profitability through effective utilization of all resources.
  4. Bar Operations: Work towards the timely setup of the bar areas and the completion of all mise en place works, in line with the opening hours.
  5. Product Innovation: Delight the guest by offering trend-setting and innovative products and services; contribute to sales activities and assist in maximizing revenue.
  6. Inventory Management: Prepare Store requisitions and Bar requisitions.
  7. Guest Relations: Handle guest complaints directly or refer them to the Bar Manager.
  8. Customer Service: Extend prompt services to all guests and treat guests and colleagues in a courteous manner.
Requirements:
  1. Education: Diploma/degree in hospitality or vocational training in food & beverage.
  2. Experience: Minimum of two years experience in Bar Operations.
  3. Skills: Excellent command of English and additional skills, like guest service and interpersonal skills.
  4. Knowledge: Thorough knowledge about all types of wines, liquor, and cocktails.
