We are currently seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Food & Beverage professional to join our team at Rotana Hotels & Resorts.
Key Responsibilities:- Service Excellence: Perform all necessary tasks to service beverages according to the standard of performance manual of the hotel.
- Training and Development: Conduct weekly training sessions on beverage pouring practice, cocktail mixing, bottle flaring, and up-selling.
- Guest Satisfaction: Achieve total guest satisfaction and organizational profitability through effective utilization of all resources.
- Bar Operations: Work towards the timely setup of the bar areas and the completion of all mise en place works, in line with the opening hours.
- Product Innovation: Delight the guest by offering trend-setting and innovative products and services; contribute to sales activities and assist in maximizing revenue.
- Inventory Management: Prepare Store requisitions and Bar requisitions.
- Guest Relations: Handle guest complaints directly or refer them to the Bar Manager.
- Customer Service: Extend prompt services to all guests and treat guests and colleagues in a courteous manner.
- Education: Diploma/degree in hospitality or vocational training in food & beverage.
- Experience: Minimum of two years experience in Bar Operations.
- Skills: Excellent command of English and additional skills, like guest service and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge: Thorough knowledge about all types of wines, liquor, and cocktails.
- Hotel Operations: Understanding of hotel operations and procedures.
- Communication: Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Planning: Ability to plan and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Leadership: Supervisory experience and leadership skills.
- Cultural Awareness: Understanding of cultural differences and ability to work with a multi-cultural team.
- Teamwork: Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and be a great team player.
