About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Technical Director Ecommerce to lead the development and optimization of our ecommerce platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong blend of technical expertise and leadership abilities to drive innovation, improve IT processes, and oversee a high-performing team.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Scalable Solutions: Design, develop, and implement scalable and efficient ecommerce solutions.
  • Optimize Existing Systems: Optimize existing systems for performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Manage API Integration: Oversee API integration and management, defining API requirements and standards.
  • Lead Team Members: Hire, train, and develop technical team members, setting clear performance expectations and providing regular feedback.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology: A degree in Information Technology or related field.
  • IT Certifications an Advantage: Relevant IT certifications can be advantageous.
  • Minimum 10 Years' Experience: At least 10 years of experience in business analysis and solutions development, preferably with a solid understanding of logistics/supply chain/freight ecommerce.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum Environment: Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment is an advantage.
