Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems, including circuit breakers, electrical panels, and wiring.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot electrical issues, including faulty equipment and wiring problems.
  • Repair and Replacement: Repair or replace electrical equipment, including motors, pumps, and other electrical components.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the life of electrical equipment.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other maintenance teams, including plumbing and HVAC, to ensure seamless operation of all systems.
  • Safety: Ensure all electrical work is performed in accordance with safety protocols and regulations.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with colleagues and management to ensure all electrical issues are addressed promptly.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required.
  • Electrical Experience: 2+ years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in electrical systems, including circuit breakers, electrical panels, and wiring.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree or Higher: In a related field, such as electrical engineering or technology.
  • Certifications: OSHA certification and/or electrical trade certifications.
  • Experience with Building Management Systems: Familiarity with building management systems and energy management software.
