Job Title: Estimator

The role of an Estimator at Asterix Communications involves ensuring that accident repair estimates are prepared in a timely and profitable manner. This requires effective communication with Insurance Company representatives and driving estimate negotiations to achieve a profitable insurance claim.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Liaise with Service Advisors to receive accident vehicles from customers and verify police reports and related documents.
  2. Conduct thorough inspections of accident vehicles, prepare lists of essential parts, and collaborate with the Parts Department to obtain necessary information for preparing estimates.
  3. Coordinate with workshop supervisors to prepare estimates through Audatex and record approval details in the system.
  4. Liaise with Service Advisors for work progress updates and advise insurance companies on additional jobs required, securing approval with revised estimates.
  5. Prepare weekly reports on estimate status and analyze conversion ratios.
  6. Undertake additional responsibilities as required and define performance goals with the Service Manager.
  7. Identify training and development needs and agree on them with the Service Manager to ensure required trainings are arranged and attended.
  8. Strive for highest levels of proficiency on all competencies and skills required for the role.
Requirements:
  • Experience in using Audatex Estimate System.
  • Proven ability to work independently and with others.
  • Able to manage complex human relationships and culturally sensitive.
  • MS Office advanced skills.
  • English – Fluent (required), Arabic (preferred).
  • 2 to 4 years in a related field/role.
  • High school diploma (preferred).
