Job Description

KBR, Inc. is seeking a highly experienced Senior Electrical Commissioning Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Expertise: Provide technical leadership and expertise in electrical commissioning, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.
  • Project Management: Manage and supervise vendors and suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of electrical equipment and materials.
  • Commissioning and Start-Up: Oversee the pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up of electrical facility equipment, including LV switchboards, distribution, UPS, electrical motors, and PLCs.
  • ATEX Certification: Ensure familiarity with ATEX certification and hold a valid certificate of training on ATEX certified equipment.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and review procedural requirements for company review and approval, including identification of consumables and first fills for commissioning and start-up.
  • Offshore Safety and Permit to Work Systems: Ensure necessary experience and knowledge of offshore safety and permit to work systems.

Requirements:

  • Education: Evidence of formal electrical engineering education.
  • Experience: At least 10 years of experience in a similar position, with experience of ICAPS or similar proprietary completion systems.
  • Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Cultural Competence: Experience of multicultural project teams.
