About the Role
This leadership position oversees Sales, Marketing, and Public Relations functions. The successful candidate will lead a team to develop and implement revenue-growth strategies, manage revenue streams, and promote brand awareness.
Key Responsibilities
- BUILD A HIGH-PERFORMING TEAM: Lead, coach, train, and develop sales, marketing, and public relations staff.
- BALANCE SALES AND MARKETING ACTIVITIES: Balance the specific needs of sales and marketing staff by building a positive and creative work environment.
- Foster trust and confidence with stakeholders: ownership, home office, PC, and hotel teams.
- DRIVE REVENUE GROWTH: Develop and implement revenue-growth strategies, manage revenue streams, and promote brand awareness.
- COMMUNICATE EFFECTIVELY: Actively engage with general managers and planning committees to drive hotel revenue-generating initiatives.
- Evaluate performance and approve quarterly and annual incentive results for sales staff.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree; preferred marketing or hospitality emphasis is important.
- Significant, relevant experience required.
- Three to five years previous employment in a related position.
- Outstanding resource and budget management skills.
- Strong overall business perspective.
