Corporate Sales Professional

The IT Sales Executive (Corporate) plays a pivotal role in handling the sales of IT solutions, including software, hardware, and services, to new or existing customers with the primary goal of achieving revenue targets.
This position requires an individual with a strong understanding of Information Technology, excellent business acumen, and the ability to maintain client relationships, provide pre-sales and after-sales advice, and serve as the key contact point for customers.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- IDentify and develop new business through effective networking and prospecting techniques.
- Engage in cold-calling to generate interest in company products and services, create new business leads, and arrange customer meetings.
- Prepare and deliver customer presentations, including high-level solution overviews and/or demos, to effectively showcase the value proposition.
- Understand customers' business needs and challenges, and position the relevant solutions that address those needs, thereby increasing the chances of closing deals.
- Persuade potential buyers that a product or service best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price, and service delivery while managing customer objections effectively.
- Develop a pipeline by utilizing the company's sales methodology and processes to ensure consistent growth.
- Manage sales opportunities throughout the sales cycle, ensuring timely and accurate forecasting and reporting for management visibility.
- Meet or exceed individual sales targets while contributing to overall team targets set by management.
- Maintain strategic relationships with existing customers and upsell/cross-sell by promoting product upgrades, additional complementary technologies or solutions.
- Maintain strategic partnerships with technology vendors and distributors to expand the company's offerings and reach.
- Respond to tender documents and write proposals, as well as any supporting documentation, to effectively communicate the company's value proposition.
- Create sales literature to promote company solutions, products, and services, highlighting the benefits and unique selling points.
- Support marketing activities by attending company events and trade shows, serving as a brand ambassador and showcasing the company's expertise.
- Maintain industry awareness and stay up-to-date on the latest trends in software, hardware, and related solutions to provide valuable insights to customers and drive sales growth.
- Manage own time effectively by organizing and prioritizing daily and weekly tasks, ensuring productivity and efficiency.
- Provide project oversight and work with project managers or project technical leads to ensure customer expectations are met, acting as the escalation point for customer issues.
- Assist in the procurement process by issuing and tracking purchase requests for specified projects, streamlining operations and ensuring timely delivery.
