Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Groups & Events Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating groups and private events, ensuring seamless execution and exceeding client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle groups and events enquiries, maintaining close communication with clients and all departments.
- Independently manage daily schedules, adhering to agreements even in high-pressure situations.
- Ensure a clear overview of bookings and client interactions.
- Build strong relationships with internal operations teams and external third parties, prioritizing the guest experience.
- Manage the booking process from start to finish: proposals, contracts, rooming lists, and invoicing.
- Follow up with clients post-event to secure repeat business and gather feedback.
- Present function sheets in the operations meeting.
- Develop relationships with clients for repeat business and track trends to support repeat bookings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Events, or Tourism.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a luxury hotel environment.
- Previous professional event organization experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good negotiation skills.
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced work environment.
- Proficiency in French and English, with additional languages a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills and flexibility.
- Strong results-driven mindset and negotiation techniques.
- Positive attitude, dynamic personality, good communication and interpersonal skills, and creative thinking.
