About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Estimator to join our team at Facade Jobs. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for glass facade projects.


Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Preparing Detailed Estimates: Develop and submit comprehensive cost estimates for glass facade projects, encompassing all relevant products and services.
  2. Project Analysis: Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to understand the scope of work and required materials.
  3. Bid Development: Collaborate with the sales and PM teams to develop winning strategies for tenders and prepare competitive bids and proposals.
  4. Project Budgeting: Assist in the preparation of project budgets and cost plans, ensuring accurate and realistic estimates.
  5. Cost Monitoring: Monitor and report on project costs, highlighting any variances from the initial estimates and proposing corrective actions as necessary.
  6. Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed records of estimates, bids, and other relevant documentation.
  7. Reporting: Generate regular reports on the status of ongoing estimates, bids, and project costs.
  8. Client Communication: Ensure clear and effective communication with clients throughout the estimation and bidding process.

Requirements

We are looking for a recent graduate or an individual with less than two years of experience in civil engineering, construction management, architecture, or a related field. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of glass facade systems and a keen eye for detail.
