About This Opportunity

Al Khayyat Investments (AKI) is seeking a talented Senior Landscape Draftsman to play a crucial role in supporting project delivery. The ideal candidate will collaborate with subcontractors, procurement, and scheduling teams to ensure seamless communication with consultants and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed construction drawings and plans for residential and commercial landscape projects using AutoCAD or similar drafting software.
  • Translate concept sketches and client specifications into accurate technical drawings.
  • Conduct site surveys and integrate topographic data into drafting decisions.
  • Work collaboratively with landscape designers, architects, and contractors to ensure project alignment and compliance with building codes.
  • Prepare material take-offs based on finalized drawings.
  • Update as-built drawings as projects progress.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to address inquiries and resolve challenges.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Drafting & Design (desired)
  • Over 10 years of experience as a Landscape Draftsman
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar landscape-specific drafting tools
  • Comprehensive knowledge of landscape construction principles and techniques
  • Experience with construction, civil structures, and utilities is a valuable asset
  • Effective time management, planning, and prioritization skills
  • Familiarity with ProjectWise is a plus
