We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Core Analysis Laboratory Engineer to join our team at Oil and Gas Job Search Ltd.
Key Responsibilities:- Organize and manage the daily operations of the Core Analyses Laboratory, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources.
- Responsible for the calibration and maintenance of CT Scanning machines, ensuring accurate and reliable data.
- Acquire, process, and interpret CT scanner data, generating high-quality reports and 3D images.
- Execute analysis according to documented standards and guidelines, adhering to client analysis programs and procedures.
- Ensure the quality of service throughout all phases of laboratory work, delivering high-quality products to clients.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, including CMS-300, Logtec Thin Sectioning Machine, Profile Permeameter, MICP, and other tools.
- Organize and participate in thin section preparation, poro-perm measurements, and other required laboratory activities.
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration of computerized equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
- Prepare and submit final invoices for completed projects to the Team Leader/Senior Laboratory Engineer.
- Report equipment failures and operational problems, executing solutions and ensuring minimal downtime.
- Monitor and enforce HSE rules and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment and adhering to company policies.
- Train new employees in ACC, ADNOC Group of companies, or third-party service provider laboratories, ensuring a safe and effective training environment.
- Work in a team environment, completing tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Conduct periodic stock checks for chemicals and materials, reporting shortages and preparing requisitions as needed.
- Calculate, interpret, and report laboratory results, providing findings and recommendations to concerned departments.
- Train laboratory staff in project management and provide training in CT scanning and data processing as required.
- Perform other related responsibilities as assigned by the Team Leader/Senior Laboratory Engineer.
- Bachelor's or engineering degree in Geology/Petroleum field or equivalent.
- Minimum 5-year experience as a laboratory technician for core analysis, including CT scanner data processing in oil fields or similar laboratories.
- Knowledge and application of international standards and guidelines for core analyses.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and core data management I.T. systems, with the ability to adapt to other relevant ACC-developed software.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to engage with team players and management in a technically coherent manner.
