As a Sustainability and Risk Management Professional, you will play a critical role in identifying and mitigating risks associated with health, safety, and environmental practices.

Your primary responsibilities will include developing and implementing sustainable practices that minimize the company's environmental footprint. You will also be responsible for conducting risk assessments and developing strategies to mitigate potential hazards.

In addition to these responsibilities, you will be responsible for ensuring that emergency equipment and procedures are adequate to take care of an emergency. You will conduct regular drills and exercises to test these and the emergency response of personnel including Subcontractors.

Additionally, you will ensure that personal protective equipment is fit for purpose and used by employees with respect to specific job hazards. You will also arrange for Safety Flashes/Alerts in the event of near misses/incidents and advise on preventive measures needed to avoid repetition of the event.

Furthermore, you will ensure compliance to waste management procedure. You will report and investigate all incidents occurring in the project, ensuring recommendations are complied.

In this position, you will collect and compile HSSE performance data and communicate findings to the Corporate HSSE Manager, Line Management, Subcontractors management.
