Job Overview

Duncan & Ross is seeking a highly skilled BIM Implementation Lead to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing the implementation of Building Information Modelling (BIM) across various architectural projects in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Coordination: Develop and maintain Revit-based BIM models at LOD 300-400, ensuring coordination with other disciplines such as Structural, MEP, Landscape, etc.
  • Clash Detection and Review: Conduct clash detection and coordination reviews using Navisworks and other relevant tools to ensure seamless integration of BIM models.
  • BIM Standards and Workflows: Manage and enforce BIM standards, templates, and workflows across project teams to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Quality Control and Compliance: Assist in the review of architectural drawings, specifications, and shop drawings for quality control and compliance with UAE regulations.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, architects, and engineers to optimize BIM workflows and improve efficiency.
  • BIM Deliverables: Ensure the timely submission of BIM deliverables and compliance with municipality and regulatory requirements.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to project teams on BIM tools and best practices.
  • Integration and Documentation: Collaborate with subcontractors, consultants, and clients to ensure seamless integration of BIM models and maintain BIM documentation, including model versioning, updates, and audit reports.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience, with a strong background in UAE large-scale projects.
  • BIM Skills: Proven expertise in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and other BIM-related software.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in design consulting companies is mandatory.
  • Local Regulations: Strong knowledge of UAE building codes, authority submission processes, and local regulations.
  • Communication and Leadership: Excellent coordination skills with multidisciplinary teams, ability to work under pressure, meet strict deadlines, and possess strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Availability: Locally available in the UAE and able to join immediately.
