We are seeking an experienced Emergency Nurse to join our team at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City - SSMC as a Charge Nurse. The successful candidate will provide leadership and support to our nursing team, ensuring high-quality patient care and workflow efficiency.
The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills in emergency and trauma care, with excellent leadership and crisis management abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership and Support
- Lead and motivate the emergency nursing team to deliver exceptional patient care.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff members.
- Clinical Practice
- Develop and maintain a sound knowledge base in medication administration and management.
- Monitor and improve nursing workflows to enhance patient care.
- Communication and Collaboration
- Maintain effective communication with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Performance Improvement/Risk Management
- Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Comply with International and HAAD Patient Safety Goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent.
- NLT 6 years of experience in Emergency Nursing.
- Acting Charge Nurse role not less than 2 years.
