- We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Designer to join our team.
This is a mid-senior level position that requires a deep understanding of AutoCAD and Logikal design software. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing detailed shop drawings based on architectural plans and project specifications.
- Key responsibilities include:
- Providing design support to the Design Team Leader/Manager.
- Developing detailed shop drawings based on architectural plans and project specifications.
- Ensuring shop drawings comply with structural requirements and the approved BOQ.
- Preparing concept designs, shop drawings, MTO, cutting lists, and setting-out drawings with precision.
- Coordinating with factory and site teams for seamless execution.
- Conducting site visits to understand Doors, Windows, and Façade Systems as well as installation practices.
The ideal candidate should have a university degree in Engineering and at least 10 years of experience in Aluminium Doors and Windows. Experience in the façade industry is an advantage. Proficient in AutoCAD, Logikal, and other relevant design software. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and extend working hours when required.
