Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Loss Prevention Supervisor to join our team at JW Marriott Marquis Hotel Dubai. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for implementing and overseeing security policies and regulations to protect our guests, employees, and properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patrol all areas of the property to ensure the safety and security of guests and employees.
  • Conduct emergency response drills, daily physical hazard/safety inspections, investigations, interviews, and key control audits.
  • Monitor Closed Circuit Televisions and alarm systems, and authorize access to secured areas.
  • Respond to accidents, contact emergency services as needed, and administer first aid/CPR if required.
  • Gather information and complete reports on incidents and accidents.
  • Conduct safety briefings and maintain confidentiality of reports and documents.
  • Properly document all accidents, incidents, and security-related matters.
  • Be well-versed in JW Marriott Fire and Evacuation procedures and health and safety requirements.
  • Defuse disturbances and resolve safety hazard situations in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Liaise with local authorities as needed.
  • Handle interruptions and complaints from guests and employees.
  • Escort unwelcome persons from the property and ensure compliance with alcoholic beverage control laws.
  • Call for assistance using proper code responses and provide proper paperwork to employees.
  • Assist management in training, motivating, and coaching employees, and serve as a role model and first point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process.
Requirements
  • 3-4 years of experience in hospitality security, police, or military.
