Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

  1. 5+ Years: Experience in coding and automation testing in JavaScript technologies.
  2. 1+ Year: Hands-on experience in TypeScript.
  3. Automation Testing: Experience in Automation Testing Techniques and Tools e.g. Playwright / Cucumber / Appium / Selenium.
  4. Technical Skills:
    1. Restful APIs: Excellent knowledge in development and testing scalable and highly available Restful APIs / Microservices using JavaScript technologies.
    2. Automation Test Suites: Able to create end-to-end Automation test suites using Playwright / Selenium, preferably using BDD approach.
    3. GraphQL: Practical experience with GraphQL.
    4. CI/CD: Well versed with CI/CD principles and actively involved in solving troubleshooting issues in distributed services ecosystem.
    5. Containerization: Understanding of containerization, experienced in Dockers and Kubernetes.
    6. API Gateway: Exposed to API gateway integrations like 3Scale.
    7. Authentication: Understanding of Single Sign-on or token-based authentication (Rest JWT, OAuth).
    8. Task/Message Queues: Possess expert knowledge of task/message queues including but not limited to: AWS, Microsoft Azure, Pushpin, and Kafka.

Functional Skills:

  1. Coding Standards: Experience in following best Coding, Testing, Security, Unit testing, and Documentation standards and practices.
  2. Agile Methodology: Experience in Agile methodology.
  3. Research and Benchmarking: Effectively research and benchmark technology against other best-in-class technologies.
