Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan cleaning schedules according to room status allocation.
  • Ensure housekeeping trolleys are stocked daily in an organized manner.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of the local area to provide accurate directions to guests.

Operations:

  • Familiarize yourself with rooms-related services and products.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times.
  • Monitor operating supplies to reduce spoilage, breakage, and wastage.
  • Return keys to the Team Leader/Asst. Manager Housekeeping at the end of duty.
  • Hand over lost and found items to the Team Leader/Asst. Manager Housekeeping.
  • Understand and use cleaning products efficiently.
  • Use housekeeping tools as directed and report any issues to engineering.
  • Position cleaning trolleys in corridors according to resort standards.
  • Clean rooms and public areas to hotel standards.
  • Use safe lifting techniques during work.
  • Report in-room safe issues according to resort standards.
  • Familiarize yourself with guest room layouts and HK storage spaces.
  • Attend daily briefings and training sessions as scheduled.
  • Maintain a friendly and cheerful disposition at all times.
  • Handle guest complaints by listening and reporting to supervisors.
  • Use guest names consistently throughout interactions.
  • Report unusual occurrences or requests to supervisors.
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond promptly to guest requests.
  • Ensure efficient handovers at the end of each shift.
  • Be familiar with company documentation, especially the Operational Standards Manual.
  • Be polite and patient when interacting with guests who may have communication difficulties.
  • Handle guest items with care and respect their value.
  • Promote good inter-departmental relations and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Adhere to Accor Policies related to fire, hygiene, health, and safety.

Administration:

  • Use duty shift checklists to ensure tasks are completed.

  • Care for equipment and furniture entrusted for use.
  • Be familiar with hotel policies and procedures, physical layout, and emergency procedures.
