About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Spa Therapist to join our team at IHG Hotels & Resorts. As a Spa Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional spa treatments to our guests, ensuring a memorable and relaxing experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Exceptional Spa Treatments: Offer a wide range of spa treatments to our guests, adhering to the highest brand standards.
  • Ensure Compliance: Familiarize yourself with local regulations and ensure compliance in all aspects of your work.
  • Retail Spa Products: Actively promote and sell spa products to our guests, providing personalized recommendations and solutions.
  • Achieve Sales Targets: Meet or exceed sales targets set by the department manager.
  • Manage Treatment Rooms: Ensure each treatment room is fully prepared and maintained to the highest standards.
  • Time Management: Effectively manage your time to ensure all guest treatments commence on schedule and last the correct duration.
  • Drive Awareness: Utilize downtime to promote hotel facilities and participate in organized events offsite.
  • Stock Management: Manage stock levels in treatment rooms, ensuring products are replenished and maintained in good condition.
  • Product Usage: Ensure correct product usage during treatments to control costs and reduce waste.
  • Cleanliness Standards: Maintain high cleanliness standards in all areas of the spa, taking ownership of cleaning assigned treatment rooms.
  • Guest Experience: Deliver an exceptional guest experience by following department SOPs and staying true to brand standards.
Requirements
  • Appearance: Present yourself in a well-groomed and professional manner.
  • Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills to effectively interact with guests and colleagues.
  • Treatment Skills: Demonstrate strong technical skills in spa treatments.
  • Upselling: Possess the ability to upsell and promote spa products and services.
