We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced electrical systems engineer to join our team at I-Talent. As a diesel generator maintenance expert, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of diesel generators and associated electrical systems.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Performing electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs on diesel generators ranging from 40kVA to 1500kVA.
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical faults in control panels, alternators, and generator electrical systems.
  • Electrical wiring of new generators, including control panels and electrical components.
  • Installing and commissioning rental generators plants on customer sites, including cable laying and connection to load panels.
  • Install and operate LV/MV temporary power plants
  • Carying out routine inspections and preventive maintenance on generator electrical systems.
  • Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Configuring and troubleshooting synchronizing panels and load-sharing systems.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations during all site activities.
  • Maintaining accurate service records, including job cards and service reports.
  • Providing technical support to customers and advising on electrical issues.
  • Collaborating with the mechanical team to ensure complete system functionality.
  • Responding to emergency breakdown calls as required.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an electrician in the power generation industry (rental power experience preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of generator control systems (DEIF, Deep Sea, ComAp, Woodward, etc.).
  • Experience with synchronization panels, ATS systems, and load management.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical manuals.
  • A valid UAE driving license is mandatory.
  • Good communication skills and customer service orientation.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites across UAE/Oman.
