  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' medical conditions, identifying potential risks and complications.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate dosing and timing.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes in their condition, adjusting care plans as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure informed decision-making and optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited institution.
  • Current Oregon Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • At least three years of experience in emergency department or intensive care unit settings.
  • Recent flight paramedic or flight nurse experience is preferred.
  • Oregon Driver's License (required to obtain within 30 days of hire, if relocating from another state).
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS or PEPP certifications.
  • Certified Flight RN (CFRN) certification (must obtain within 18 months of employment date).
  • NRP and STABLE certifications (must obtain within 12 months of employment date).
  • TPATC certification (must obtain within 18 months of employment date).
  • Oregon EMT or Oregon Paramedic License is preferred.
  • Body weight must be 230lbs or less due to aircraft requirements.
