We are seeking an experienced lawyer to join our Financial Regulation & Fintech practice in Dubai. As a Senior Associate or Senior Lawyer, you will provide high-level legal advice to banks, fintech disrupters, insurance companies, and private equity firms. You will assist clients to leverage technology to drive operational efficiency and innovation and navigate regulatory challenges. You will support clients throughout the licensing journey, from ideation to scaling market leaders. You will also offer expert guidance on the issuance of digital assets, payments, crowdfunding, and related regulatory/compliance issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing strategic FSR legal advice to major clients across the areas of FS regulatory compliance, financial structuring, fintech services and the development of new financial products and platforms.
  • Assisting clients to leverage technology to drive operational efficiency and innovation and navigate regulatory challenges.
  • Supporting clients throughout the licensing journey, from ideation to scaling market leaders.
  • Offering expert guidance on the issuance of digital assets, payments, crowdfunding, and related regulatory/compliance issues.


Requirements:
  • A qualified lawyer with a current practicing certificate (or equivalent).
  • A degree from a recognized institution.
  • Technical strength and commercial savvy.
  • First-rate analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • An in-depth understanding of the financial regulation sector in the Middle East (including key regulatory frameworks and market trends).
