New York University Abu Dhabi's Center for Translational Medical Devices invites applications for a biomedical engineer to join our team of researchers dedicated to designing and developing innovative medical devices.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in computational modeling, device design, and manufacturing, as well as experience with optimization of chemical, mechanical, and electrical characteristics. This role will involve collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to advance projects focused on improving diagnosis and therapy of various diseases.
Responsibilities include:
- Designing and developing novel medical devices
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Engaging in computational modeling and simulation
- Conducting preclinical experiments
- Contributing to manuscript writing and grant proposals
To succeed in this role, applicants must hold a PhD in an engineering or biomedical-related field and demonstrate proficiency in English.
