Senior Project Manager

As a Senior Project Engineer at MatchaTalent, you will be responsible for leading the execution of capital projects, ensuring they align with the defined scope, schedule, and budget. This role requires strong project management skills, technical expertise in Petrochemical projects, and the ability to provide guidance and direction to a team of project execution specialists.
Key Responsibilities- Project Execution: Lead the execution of capital projects, ensuring they meet the defined scope, schedule, and budget.
- Team Management: Manage a team of project execution specialists, providing guidance and direction to ensure successful project completion.
- Technical Expertise: Utilize your expertise in Petrochemical projects to provide appropriate actions and guidance to the team in all project phases.
- Project Oversight: Provide technical and project management oversight across the entire project lifecycle, including design, construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, startup, and project closeout.
- Issue Resolution: Ensure timely resolution of project issues that may arise during any phase of project development.
- Safety Measures: Implement safety measures to ensure the safe execution of projects.
- Company Initiatives: Implement company initiatives within projects and divisional business processes.
- KPIs: Be familiar with the company's Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and work towards achieving them for projects within your division.
- Reporting: Prepare and review monthly project performance reports that detail the status of design, material procurement, construction, milestones, commitments, payments, charges, variances from standards, waivers, and problems, and present these reports to high management.
- Scope, Timing, and Costs: Anticipate and plan for changes in project scope, timing, or costs, and prepare the necessary documentation for management approval.
- Manpower Allocation: Allocate appropriate manpower to all parts and phases of the project.
- Employee Development: Ensure that each division employee is assigned appropriate training and development paths.
