  • Process Management: Ensure that all processes for which you are responsible are performed in accordance with the standards specified.
  • Paint Distribution: Allocate paint distribution by area/volume to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Training and Development: Perform on-the-job training as necessary to ensure that team members have the skills and knowledge required to perform their duties.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all work is completed to the standards specified before final inspections are carried out.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate work progress with project managers to ensure that projects are completed on time and to budget.
  • Manpower Management: Ensure that allocated manpower is utilized progressively in accordance with set targets.
  • Relationship Building: Maintain good working relationships with workers, supervisors, and management.
  • Time Management: Work within allocated timescales to meet departmental targets.
  • Training and Development: Attend any training required by the department to ensure that you have the skills and knowledge required to perform your duties.
  • Housekeeping: Maintain good housekeeping in all work areas to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Performance Monitoring: Perform inspections to ensure that team members' performance is up to the set standards.
  • Operational Continuity: Follow day-to-day operations related to your job to ensure continuity of work.

Requirements:

  • Technical Skills: Proficient in bench fitting and able to read and understand mechanical working drawings.

  • Engineering Knowledge: Apply knowledge of appropriate engineering principles, techniques, and procedures.
