Your Role

As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for performing venipunctures and other blood collection procedures, while maintaining a safe and clean environment for patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately perform venipunctures and capillary punctures, prioritizing patient comfort and safety.
  • Label and prepare specimens for laboratory testing, adhering to established protocols.
  • Ensure a clean and organized workspace, adhering to infection control standards.
  • Effectively communicate with patients, addressing concerns and providing reassurance.
  • Maintain accurate records of sample collections and laboratory requests.
  • Contribute to the training of new staff and quality assurance processes.
  • Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure efficient specimen processing.

Requirements

  • DHA-licensed Phlebotomist.
  • UAE healthcare experience as a Phlebotomist.
  • Strong knowledge of venipuncture techniques and blood collection procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • BLS certification preferred.
