About the Job

As a Senior Backend Developer, you will be responsible for creating high-performance, scalable systems and tackling complex technical challenges. You will collaborate with our talented team to design, build, and maintain robust backend services that power our innovative projects.

Your Key Responsibilities :

  1. System Design & Development :
  • Design and develop high-performance systems using Node.js
  • Maintain and enhance our current backend codebase to ensure optimal performance
  • Write clean, reusable, and testable code while adhering to best practices and standards
System Optimization & Troubleshooting :
  • Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and reliability
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems to ensure seamless performance and minimal downtime
  • Integrate with databases, messaging brokers, and other third-party systems
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality development standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, Product, Frontend) to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and industry trends, applying them as appropriate to improve system performance and development processes

About You :

  • Strong experience in Node.js for backend development
  • Proficiency in system design, design patterns, and software architecture
  • Expertise in SQL / NoSQL databases and REST API development
  • Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and unit testing practices
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud
  • Elasticsearch experience is highly desirable

Requirements :

  • Strong problem-solving skills and passion for tackling complex technical challenges
  • Experience working in Agile / SCRUM environments and collaborating closely with product and engineering teams
  • Able to work in a self-organized, cross-functional team with minimal supervision
