Job Description

We are recruiting a highly skilled Senior Heritage/Urban Conservation Manager to lead our team in Abu Dhabi and Rome. As a key member of our organization, you will oversee urban planning projects, manage budgets, resources, and timelines.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Leading teams on urban heritage conservation projects
  • Managing technical and administrative aspects of assignments
  • Liaising with Contracting Authorities and stakeholders
  • Coordinating field missions and providing backstopping support

In addition, you will be responsible for business development by crafting proposals for international tenders, collaborating with experts and partners, and preparing technical methodologies.

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A Master's Degree in Architecture or Urban Planning with specialization in heritage conservation
  • At least 10 years of experience, including 5 years of international work as a project manager
  • Specific expertise in physical planning, master planning, conservation management, GIS, and vulnerability assessments

The ideal candidate is proactive, flexible, and passionate about heritage conservation, with excellent communication, leadership, and time management skills, as well as fluency in English.
