We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Process Engineer to join our team at Wood Plc. As a key member of our Central Engineering Division, you will be responsible for delivering process design and engineering solutions for our clients in the Oil & Gas industry.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement process design and engineering solutions for complex Oil & Gas projects.
- Lead and manage a team of engineers and designers to deliver high-quality process engineering deliverables.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.
- Develop and maintain process simulation models using HYSYS, Flare System Analyzer, PipeNet, and other relevant software.
- Conduct detailed calculations and analyses to ensure accurate process design and engineering solutions.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, including those related to safety and environmental impact.
- Participate in Hazard and Operability (HAZOP) studies and other safety reviews to identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Mentor and develop junior engineers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Identify and report on project issues and opportunities for improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent from an accredited university.
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas industry, with at least 5 years in a senior process engineering role.
- Proven track record of delivering complex process engineering projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficient in process simulation software, including HYSYS, Flare System Analyzer, and PipeNet.
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations, including those related to safety and environmental impact.
