About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Graphic Designer to join our team at Dubai Customs. As a key member of our communications department, you will be responsible for creating visually stunning and effective graphics for a variety of projects, including brochures, advertisements, and presentations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement graphic design concepts for projects, ensuring alignment with international best practices and standards.
  2. Collaborate with the graphic designer to determine project priorities and provide creative direction.
  3. Attend project planning meetings with government authorities, team members, and other professionals to discuss project requirements and specifications.
  4. Utilize a range of computer and media software, including photography, computer-assisted design, and image design.
  5. Improve the visual appeal of our department's website and implement the annual strategic and operational plan for the administration and department.
  6. Perform assigned tasks with reliability and integrity, ensuring timely completion and confidentiality of information.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in graphic design or a related field, or a certificate/license in an art specialty program.
  • Proficiency in QuarkXPress, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat.
  • At least 3-4 years of progressive experience in graphic design, using computer and traditional methods.
