About the Role

We are seeking a skilled data engineer to join our team trading European power and gas markets. As a key member of the futures trading desk, you will work closely with researchers and traders to develop models, tools, and analytics solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to help analysts take their models to production, deploy them to the cloud, and optimize their performance.

You will also be responsible for building and maintaining tools to analyze model results, monitor them, and make trading decisions. To succeed in this role, you must have a strong understanding of performance and reliability, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills.

A minimum of 2+ years of working experience, preferably in commodity markets, is required. Strong programming skills, including Python, SQL, NoSQL and one of GoLang/C#/C++, are essential. Experience with Julia programming language and deploying models to the cloud is desirable but not essential.
