Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified Civil/Structural Engineer to facilitate civil and structural installations such as foundations and steel erection, and manage commissioning activities. This role involves providing expert assistance in reviewing product and equipment submittals, shop drawings, engineering design drawings, specifications, and contractor-generated RFIs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure safety and compliance with building codes during installations
  • Coordinate with construction contractors and equipment vendors for equipment testing, delivery, installation, and commissioning
  • Provide expert assistance in reviewing product and equipment submittals, shop drawings, engineering design drawings, specifications, and contractor-generated RFIs

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and OSHA requirements
  • Familiarity with building codes and industry standards (IBC, NEC, NESC, NFPA, AMCA, ARI, AWS, ASHRAE, FM)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with construction administration activities
  • Ability to communicate technical matters effectively in written and verbal formats
  • Strong multitasking and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize project commitments
