Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport Planning and Coordination:
  • Implement transportation processes aligning with the goals of the company to ensure timely scheduling for movement of cargo.
  • Monitor and analyze transport performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with Buyers to ensure we are buying rates effectively to move the cargo efficiently. Coordinate with KAM Control to ensure our selling rates align with the trends of our buying rates.
  • Resource Management:
  • Align and allocate transport resources to optimize operational performance.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
  • Utilize data analytics tools to track transport activities, analyze trends, and generate reports for management review.
  • Prepare and present performance reports, highlighting key metrics and providing actionable insights for decision-making on planning/buying capacity purposes.
  • Customer Service and Communication:
  • Maintain clear and effective communication channels with internal teams and external partners.
  • Process Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements and contribute to the development of best practices in transport planning.
  • Implement innovative solutions to improve transportation efficiency and reduce operational costs.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in Sales, Customer Service, Logistics & Supply Chain.
  • Bachelor's degree in BA or related field.
  • CRM/ERP proficient
  • Freight forwarding and/or account management experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge about market, competitors, and industry trends will be a clear advantage.
  • Motivated, can-do attitude and ambitious self-starter with a customer-focus mindset is a must.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced international environment and cope with large-scale business challenges.
  • Being proactive & diligent with a keen eye for detail.
  • Capable in building strong and lasting relationships at multiple levels, focusing on decision makers and influencers.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Flexible team player able to adapt to dynamic business needs.
  • Can work independently with little supervision.
  • Has analytical mind able to deliver problem-solving solutions.
