About the Job

This Senior Release Governance Specialist role is responsible for leading the development and implementation of change management frameworks that align with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define Standardized Change Classifications: Embed standardized change classifications, approval workflows, and change thresholds as defined in policy.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure the change management process aligns with wider governance and risk management frameworks.
Leadership & Team Oversight
  • Manage Technical Change Managers: Manage technical change managers embedded in each business unit to ensure consistent execution and escalation handling.
Regulatory Compliance & Assurance Activities
  • Lead Evaluation & Implementation: Lead the evaluation and implementation of change workflow tooling to automate approvals, track changes, testing, and compliance reporting.
  • Collaborate on Strategy: Collaborate with Enterprise Architects to devise solutions aligned to the strategy and actively drive innovation around emerging technologies.
Metrics & Reporting
  • Develop Performance Metrics: Develop and implement change and release performance metrics for each business unit.
  • Deliver Regular Reports: Deliver regular reports to management and governance committees on change activities, risk trends, and compliance posture.
Skills Required
  • 8+ Years Experience: 8+ years in change, release, or IT operations management, ideally with 3+ years in senior management or governance roles.
  • Strong Familiarity: Strong familiarity with regulated gaming, financial services, or similar sectors.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree: Education: Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration.
